Emerging in 2017, as a multidisciplinary project with undergrad and graduate students that were interested in

Emerging in 2017, as a multidisciplinary project with undergrad and graduate students that were interested in state-of-the-art technology research, we defined three objectives:
1. Win RoboBoat
2. Inspire new generations of students
3. Expand into new competitions
This year, we accomplish them all by participating for the first time ever, representing Mexico in RoboSub 2020.

The results are in! And what a wonderful welcome did we go through!
Celebrating another achievement, we are proud to announce the achievement of the following awards:
-Third Place in Overall Standings
-First Place in Video Submission
-Fourth Place in Website

This weekend we presented a research paper on the use of deep neural networks for USV control at the 2020 International Conference on Deep Learning Technologies. This work is part of our results from the semester by members Alex Gonzalez, Dave Barragán, Ivana Coll, and our advisor Dr. Leonardo Garrido.
